Preview tweaked



New loading screen

Right click on the loading screen and click view image because this board cuts part of it off.

I have a 32 inch screen so if the text is to small for smaller PC screens tell me and i'll see what i can do about making it bigger.

EDIT: just noticed the double "May have" and the "Gentlement" thing tomorrow text is varied thats just some random stuff i came up with in a few minutes but thats the jist of my loading screen i might loose the black and white think im not sure yet.


Heres the new one i forgot about the loading bar when i made the first one this should have no interference with the loading bar now

Small points

-You can write your name in small letters (loading screen by xxxlord, with a 90° angle on top right, or normal angle(horizontal) bottom right Smile
-it's clan RC (and not RA) for Europe
-Tips: 1: "with abilities", not "With abilities"
-Story: "communcation" => "communication"
-"induestries" => "industries"
-"the military" =>"The military" (why not The Army, Us Army?)
-"have been taken over by terrorist control if this is leaked" => "have been taken over by terrorist control. If this is leaked"

Other mistakes already pointed previously.

Great job dude!

Why do we have to be US Marines? military is nondescript. We could belong to the RC, the government, a private security company etc.
You could just as well replace the loadscreen with an "I-WANT-YOU"-Picture and add the line: "to shoot these zombies", surrounded by the American flag.

Nothing against america, but there are already lots of "US Armies" fighting in zombiemaps. I really liked that the Employees were different. And to be honest: who gives a damn that the squad the player is part of belongs to the american government, complete with realistic names, etc.

Its good that the equipment has references to the real stuff, but if having the complete correct references is more mportant then the gameplay...
Just my thoughts. Leave it at military.

EDIT: Hmmm I just reread the introduction text... if everyone wants the "US army" in the map... why not say that the "Employees" are part of the US Army. Then the players would be part of Thanatos Security Forces, which explains why the players are so much stronger then the npcs, and why they cant control them.

im to tired to read your entire post namo but it the reason i said US marines is because of the fact my rewritten class names have some marines in it. and you cannot tell me that a company as large as Thanatos industries does not have military defense contracts and the military would have there own men in such a facility to help see things along most of the time. so it going black would have the US military worried. now im going back to sleep for 2-3 hours lulz

Thats your argument:
Big Defense Company->Defense Contracts-> Automatically they can order US Marines around because the government supports the company even if they have to throw soldiers in the maws of hell->Because the real american government helps out private security forces etc. due to contracts.

My Counterargument:
So? Maybe its like that, but to be honest I dont care!

Something I really liked about the map was that it has nothing to do with USMarines etc. Jk also said that the RC could be anywhere on the world. Heck, it could have been on a different planet for all we know!
And now you appear, wanting to rename everything and americanize the whole map. Cant say I'm happy about that.
I liked that everything was kept "internally" without having the "big bad guys with da big bad guns" butting in:

We had a private company which developped weapons.
OK
The private company researched everything from energy-technologies to weapon systems to robotics.
OK
The company had a private security Force which consists of different soldier classes, some equipped with normal, some with not-so-normal weapons.
Great Idea!
Suddenly a crazy (head) scientist unleashes his bio weapon because of his megalomania, zombies take over the area.
OK
Entrance the Players as the RC security Force who tries to keep everything under wraps and remove all the zombies.
Like Resident Evil, but this time WE are Umbrella.
Would Umbrella allow ANYONE to butt into what is a more or less secret research facility? (Its not really secret, but they also dont advertise what they do...)
Hell, NO!!

If the RC is forcibly americanised, I think I'll join Legion is his exile. And really hope that RC2 will have another background-story.

Actually i agree with namo. I liked it when it was a private company with its own soldiers.

Allthough i wouldn't go so far to stop RC, but i would like to keep it with the private company ... rather than with US Marines ...

I guess you had not understood completly Smile

RC will still stay as a private company.

The change affects only some heroes because of a minor change: the intervention squad would no longer be owned by the RC's chain (now Thana-thing undustries) but by Us Army. Or, why not, if xxxlord gets enough knowledge about this, by an international squad.

Why does there have to be an "outside"? (no matter who they are)

The game resolves around the RC that has to kill off his own zombies:
Thats why the only military should belong to the RC Security Forces. No government (american, international squad or whatever). No outsiders. Just employees and zombies.

Alright namo we had a what one hour discussion about this already let me say it again since you do not seem to understand how the US military works. (btw its the US Marines not the US army pach) Its simple the US military would have knowledge about any private company on united states soil. Even if they have to put spies in the company to find out they would find out even more so with a company as huge as Thanatos industries. So its quite simple they wouldn't be able to make a facility as big as RC601 is without the US knowing about it and without the US military helping some. Heres a story for you at the end of world war 2 the united states stole quite a few scientists from the germans, hell we even sent a ranger unit to find the original designer of the nuke the germans were making the germans couldn't make it because lack of plutonium. He was an italian scientist he ended up getting killed in a fire fight while trying to escort him out. Anyways the moral of this story is as follows almost anytime something threatening happens the united states gets there paws in it we think were like the British we want to police the world. So back on subject theres no way the company would of been able to create the facility without military help and without military contracts and they would also have most likely contracted the company to make the virus that infected everyone in the facility. This is because the US spends billions of dollars every year researching new advances in biological warfare. Because biological agents are what we call the poor mans nuke. If we could kill off a country with a virus instead of a nuke we could take over everything else in the country and the buildings would still be intacted its a sad world we live in to think like thats but thats how we think. I told you before i had a friend that was a 19X which is basically Special Forces and told me all kinds of the dirty things that whent on in iraq. Anyways the moral of this story remain there is no way in hell the company could make a virus like this in a facility like this and have the facility go dark along with the town the village and the military outposts that are out there the US military would respond in force. and a majority of the classes will remain Priv sec or thanatos Industries personnel.

How many times must i say it you have not played enough resident evil games have you? sure STARS was contracted by umbrella but a lot of umbrella's private sec's were EX-military or still were military otherwise known as mercs if you actually played more then one game namo........ and the US military was involved with umbrella quite a few times in some of the games.

EDIT2: May i also remind you namo that the force recon class is a US military or Marines Special forces detachment as well as Marine leader being US military.

EDIT3: Oh ya i forgot to mention the marine's in this game are under the command of thanatos industries btw namo so no the us military isn't taking over the map its just class names descriptions and some skills.

My point:
-I do NOT want any military inside the map except the RC Security Forces.

[And I dont Care about the government. Maybe jk can do a quest where we have to find and dispose of governmental soldiers etc. Since the map is rumored to play for 8 hours until the players defeat Nexus, I guess the military wont be able to dispatch that many troups.]
[PS: and we didnt discus four hours, it was 1/2 an hour Razz]

your being quite childish about renaming a few classes it in no way effects story mode or the chars them selves just some will have Marine names.......... like i said the marines are under the command and control of thanatos and force recon and marine leader are already US military names and you don't get mad about that so whats the big problem with this....?

The entire point i was trying to make to you namo is that were still part of a private Army/Security force but since Thanatos Industries has ties to the military part of Thanatos's Security force is military personnel.
