hi,

i just wanted to show you this game. Its the same style like many other we feature here:

- u can choose from 6 different classes

  • Blacksmith - makes weapons and armor
  • Botanist - plants plants that turn into ressources for other
  • Builder - builds building that help the team
  • Fighter - main dmg dealer
  • Defender - tank with some stun and smg abilities
  • Cleric - healer/support and with higher ranks a little dmg

- you must work together to be succesful
- you defend a special area from evil monsters
- save/load, higher exp grants more skills

there are a few bots out there that host this map. its really funny. and there are many things to discover.

Hmm, I did play for a while but its been forever since I last touched it. Whats the latest version?

(I stopped playing because I believed I discovered most of the secrets and because it was getting ahrd to find good players.)

it seems the game isnt developed anymore just like rc... still there are some players playing

true... but like in rc601 the motivation is to unlock new skills (or in rc601 new heroes), and like notd:am it can be pretty hard

After 7k exp you'll get bored in Terrania if you don't get some experts to play with Smile

Deep mechanics and the healing is a healer's dream. I approve of this game.

Although, I don't see any reason to take it seriously. The game doesn't have much depth, once you get into saving etc.

(I mean this by the example as I see people take it very seriously, among other games on wc3 Wink )

the bad think with this game is that there are unique items. so if noobs mess up with crafter's job team dont rly stand a chance.for this game u must share prof's before u start, and if some1 doesnt co-operates then the only solution is kick.but kick isnt approved at the community, right?

I dont really see the point of the game. The gameplay is always the same: a few creeps spawn in waves, you kill them, walk around the map and pick up the special items which are always at the same place, help the support classes to do their jobs, receive ubergear from them, defend base until boss comes... repeat until the final boss is reached.

Once you get a good team together, you can finish the map in one day (as long as the team stays together and plays multiple times...).

most games are like this. the only difference is that unique items doesnt spawn at same place.the wave and bosses are more or less the same.however terrania is a map that cant be beaten by 1 uber exp guy. teamwork is a must, or u wont go far

And thats all there is to it (sadly). You need teamplay. If you have it, you can be a Level 0 or a level 100 player. The results are the same.


I still remember my last Terrania-Game:
We were 5 or 6 players, with a more or less balanced team. We had an experienced/high-ranked fighter, me as Gardner/Biologist and a good Smith.

The fighter (due to his Movespeedbonus through rank) managed to 1-man the game with the smith creating Uber-Equipment for him and me doing my job cleaning water and corruption. The rest stumbled more or less around and defended the base whenever the fighter was still on his way back.

There is very little for the 3 'building' classes to do.
I get bored easily and tanking and dpsing seem 'trivial' for this kind of game :S
Healing is okay until you get a second cleric who wastes their mana.
