Don't know if this idea will ever be used, I just wanted to work it out. There's alot of corpses lying around in this game. Why not make a hero who can use them?

Coroner does not regenerate mana, not via abilities, batteries or normal regeneration. He can increase his mana pool using energy cells or dynamos. The only way for the coroner to gain mana is to use organ harvest.

Skill 1. Organ Harvest
After the autopsy of any semi-intact corpse comes the harvest. Nearly every part of the human body has medical use and can be recycled in some way.
In game: The coroner uses this skill while standing on a corpse. This turns the corpse into mana, allowing it to be used later. Further skillpoints increase harvesting efficiency and mana pool size. Standard time for harvesting a corpse is 2 seconds, reduced to 1 second with scalpel.
Level 1. 100 mana, 20 mana gained per harvest
Level 2. 200 mana
Level 3. 300 mana, double harvesting efficiency (40 mana gained per harvest)
Level 4. 400 mana
Level 5. 500 mana
Level 6. 600 mana triple harvesting efficiency.


Skill 2. Carcass catapult
The military strategy of attacking the enemy with dead bodies is quite old, but far from outdated. Thanatos industries has taken this ancient method of attack to a new level.
In game: Coroner attacks using a dead body from storage. The attack deals some direct damage and significant poison damage over time. Further skillpoints increase damage dealt per corpse and increases corpses launched. Damage over time from multiple corpses can stack, so at lvl 6 the maximum damage can be as high as 6x800=4800dps. Duration is 5 seconds. Under ideal circumstances maximum damage is 24k.
The catapult somewhat inaccurate, and corpses launched can land anywhere in a 400 aoe. At level 6, only a target at the exact middle takes damage from all 6 corpses. 5 second cooldown. The ability costs 20 mana per corpse fired. A command to control the amount of corpses used might be useful (like tactical controller).
Level 1. 300 direct damage, 300 damage per second in 400aoe, 1 corpse launched per use
Level 2. 400 dps, 2 corpses
Level 3. 500 dps, 3 corpses
Level 4. 600 dps, 4 corpses
Level 5. 700 dps, 5 corpses
Level 6. 800 dps, 6 corpses


Skill 3. Transplant
Organ donation is big business. Organs are however not always compatible with the new host.
In game: The coroner selects a corpse from storage to heal a target unit and regenerate energy. Can give temporary status bonuses or ailments depending on the donor. Regular zombie corpses have 33% chance to inflict a biohazzard or double movespeed and attack rate for 30 seconds. Coroner doesn't gain energy if he uses the skill on himself. Cooldown 5 seconds.
Level 1. 100 health and energy healed, 20 mana cost at all levels.
Level 2. 200 health and energy
Level 3. 300
Level 4. 400
Level 5. 500
Level 6. 600

Needs improvement, since there is little use in levelling this skill higher than 3.

Skill 4. Autopsy/book
Level 1. Scalpel, take sample.
Level 2. Bonesaw, I see dead people.
Level 3. Embalm
Level 4. Frankenstein
Level 5. Grim Reaper's sprint
Level 6. Dead body landmine

The scalpel is the instrument of choice for the first incision.
In game: Reduces the time required to harvest a corpse to 1 second.

Take sample, same as the biologist skill.

The bonesaw is used to cut through hardened tissue, which includes more than just bones. It's different from a regular saw in appearance, but not functionality.
In game: the coroner gains a +100 attack bonus against targets within 100 range.

'I see dead people' is a famous quote from the Sixth Sense.
In game: The coroner gains vision of all corpses in 5000aoe.

Embalming is the ancient technique of conserving the dead.
In game: allows the coroner to extend the timer of a dead hero by 60 seconds. Cooldown is 200 seconds. Can also be used to extend the decay duration of zombie corpses in 400 aoe by 15 seconds, allowing for an easier harvest when subjects are numerous.

Frankenstein is the monster from old horror movies composed of the bodies of many dead people, sewn together and brought to life via electric shocks.
In game: the coroner's summon, a slow moving zombie-like creature. It has a slow attack that deals 200-300 dmg. Has 2000 hp, useful for tanking while the coroner harvests or uses his catapult. Requires 100 mana to create, 120 second cooldown.

The Grim Reaper's sprint is a metaphor. In hospitals or battlefields (or battlefield hospitals),when many people near death or still quite far from death are killed in quick succession, the Grim Reaper is said to have sprinted through their ranks. They say he runs quicker with every living soul he touches.
In game: When the coroner activates this skill, he gains 300% attack rate. The bonus continues so long as he kills a target every five seconds. Cooldown is 180 seconds.

Dead body landmine transforms a dead body, allowing it's matter to be converted into energy. The body essentially turns into a proximity mine. The explosive potential of the mine depends on the corpse used: the stronger the corpse, the more potent the explosion.
In game: Creates a landmine that deals damage equal to the hp of the corpse used. Units killed by this ability leave no corpses.

Some ideas to throw in the pot:

-Change "Corpse Storage" into Mana. Just make give the hero 0 MP-Regen and make him unable to Bateries or similar stuff.
-All his abilities do not cost any energy, they just have a (slightly higher then normal) cooldown.
-Only those abilities that use "Corpse Storage" use mana.
-Give him more abilities that use corpses^^

RC089 doesnt have Heroes, it has Skillbooks. (Demolition Class= Spellbook Demolition, Medium Armor, SMG-Training & Advanced Electronics).

Maybe I'll add a skillbook like the one in this thread, but later...
