that's not a bad idea however though its better if there's a npc guide with you cause that will show its important. it can be neutral and invulernable and doesnt attack.

Why not add a "Pet" that spawns when the Crates drop and when the player is a Recruit?

Model: Whisp
Name: Command Holo-Drone
Function: Follows the player automatically, has no functions except some Buttone like "What do I do now?" "Is there something I need to Know?" etc which gives the player a personal (others dont see) Text message and maybe a ping.

And after reaching 1 or 2 more ranks, it will simply not spawn.

Or whatever........


And I'm neither a child, nor an elitist. Does that mean I dont exist?

a wisp is fine but is it actually possible to code something like that for a specific rank that interacts and so forth?

every game you get an intro already at the moment, what if you replace that intro with the few basic rule lines? doesnt have to be more then 10-30 seconds.

(you can type -skip if you want to) and you can pick your hero, just make the game start in 150 seconds or so with a 30 seconds video, people who watch it still got 120 seconds left.

the people who do not watch it got 150 seconds to pick a hero and move to the town

this game is too complex for just a simple 30 seconds. I think the npc/wisp guide is best cause its there with you and you can ask it questions or a combination of both?

Actually, the Icons can just be Dummys.
Simple Pictures with Text.

Only an "-TL" button and a "Mission-Ping" button would require a Trigger.

With the recent new changes, this game is becoming anything 'but' newb friendly.

I can't get one random passed ch1 with the new lights out.

Bio hazard thing is nuts.

Yet to see new ammo system.

(to add to my meaningless rant) The new prone system is pretty suck. All units select must be separately 'proned' + they stop all actions once proned/unproned.
